Official Rules

The "Maid Service Please Sweepstakes" ("Promotion") is sponsored by The Brampton Company ("Sponsor"). The Promotion shall be solely administered and judged by QuickSilver Interactive Group, Inc. ("Judge"). All decisions of the Judge regarding this Promotion and these Official Rules are final.

The Promotion begins at 12:01 AM Central Time ("CT") Monday, March 1, 2010 and ends at 11:59 PM CT Sunday, August 22, 2010 (the "Entry Period").  The drawing to determine the prize winner will be held on or after September 6, 2010.

Eligibility

The Promotion is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including the District of Columbia) and legal residents of Canada, except those from the Province of Quebec, who are 18 years of age or older at the start of the promotion entry period.

Entrants must verify that they meet the eligibility requirements as stated in these Official Rules. At no time will prizes be awarded to non-residents or minors.

Employees of the Sponsor, the Judge, any retail or promotional partners involved and each of their immediate families (spouse, children, parents, siblings) and their households are not eligible to enter or win prizes in the Promotion.

This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. All valid entries, whether submitted online or via mail, have an equal chance of winning.

How to Enter

During the Entry Period only, you may enter in two ways, by mail or online:

Entering by Mail
(1) On a piece of white paper write your name, legal residence address (no P.O. Boxes), city, state, zip code, home phone number, e-mail address, and birth date, and place it in a #10 business envelope and mail it to: Maid Service Please Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 165428, Irving, TX 75016. Do not include any additional items in the mail-in envelope. Mail-in entries must be postmarked on or before the last day of the Entry Period to be eligible.

Mail-in entries, which do not include all information as stated in these Official Rules, or which includes items in addition to the white paper required will not be accepted and will not be eligible to win. Only one mail-in entry per person will be eligible for the drawing, as determined by name, address and/or unique e-mail address. Multiple mail-in entries by the same person may result in the disqualification of all entries by that individual.

Entering Online
(2) Go to http://www.PawSafeCleaners.com/promo to view the Maid Service Please Sweepstakes entry web site where you can learn more about the Promotion, read these Official Rules, and enter by completing the online Entry Form.

There you will be asked for your name, home address (no P.O. Boxes), city, state or province, zip code or postal code, phone number, e-mail address and birth date.

Each entrant is allowed one online entry per day (24-hour period). In addition, if the entrant shares the promotion URL with friends, family or others via e-mail, Facebook status update or Twitter tweet, one additional entry will be granted for that day.

Entrants must share the promotion URL (http://www.PawSafeCleaners.com/promo) in their e-mail, Facebook status update or Twitter tweet to receive the additional entry for that day.

Each entrant is allowed a maximum of two entries per day, one via the normal online Entry Form and one via social media sharing.

All online entries must be submitted with a valid and active e-mail address that must be identified with a natural person by appropriate independent means, including, without limitation, reverse domain name lookup. Online entries will be declared to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the e-mail address submitted on the online entry form.

Potential winners may be requested to provide the Sponsor or Judge with proof that the potential winner is the authorized and undisputed account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry. For purposes of these Official Rules, "receipt" of any online entry will be solely determined when the contest Administrator's web site server records the successful submission of entry data. Any automated computer form reply or receipt (such as one confirming delivery of e-mail) does not constitute actual receipt by the promotion Administrator or Judge of an entry form for purposes of these Official Rules. The Sponsor is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the Internet, connection interruptions, computer malfunctions, telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other problems.

All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned to the entrant.

An individual may win only one prize, and only one prize may be awarded per entry.

Any form of entry other than that described in these Official Rules is prohibited; no automatic, programmed, scripted, robotic or similar means of entry is permitted.

Entrants are required to provide truthful information and the Judge will reject and disqualify any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent or which has been entered in an inappropriate manner. The Judges may disqualify and remove any entry received from persons known to be younger than the minimum age requirement specified for this contest, especially those under the age of 13, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.

This Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. All entries, no matter the method used to enter, have an equal chance of winning.

Prize Details

Grand Prize

One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded.

Grand Prize is maid service in your home, once each week for one year and a year's supply of PawSafe Cleaners (approx. retail value $300).

No changes or substitutions of this prize will be allowed. The prize may not be sold, bartered or transferred to another individual, group or organization. The prize will be awarded in the name of the winner only.

Approximate retail value of the Grand Prize, is $5,500.

An alternative Grand Prize, Cash Award will be offered if the winner elects not to accept the maid service as outlined in these Official Rules. Acceptance of the alternative Cash Award is solely at the discretion of the winner and is in lieu of the maid service. The Grand Prize, Cash Award is $5,500.

Deadlines

The Promotion begins at 12:01 AM Central Time ("CT") Monday, March 1, 2010 and ends at 11:59 PM CT Sunday, August 22, 2010 (the "Entry Period").  The drawing will be held on or after September 6, 2010.

The Judge's computer is the official clock for the Promotion.

All mail-in entries must be post-marked no later than Sunday, August 22, 2010 and received in the specified post office box on or before August 30, 2010 in order to be eligible.

Entries received after the above deadlines are void and will not be considered eligible.

No responsibility is assumed by the Sponsor, Administrator, Judge, their respective subsidiaries, parents, partners, retail or promotion sponsors, or the employees of same for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur, nor for any delay in the delivery of e-mail or mail.

Winner Selection

After the official entry period ends, winners will be chosen by a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.

Drawing will be made by the Judge, whose decision is final with respect to all matters related to the Promotion. Selection is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with all conditions as stated in these Official Rules.

Odds of winning are dependent on the total number of eligible entries received in the Maid Service Please Sweepstakes.

Notification of Winners

Winners will be notified via the e-mail address provided in the entry information submitted by the winner in the Maid Service Please Sweepstakes. The Judge will be the only organization that will contact winners and on first notification, no information will be required of winners other than that which was originally entered on their online or mail-in entry.

After notification by e-mail, if a winning entrant does not respond to the Judge by e-mail within 48 hours, or the time period specified by the Judge, the Sponsor reserves the right to direct the Judge to pick an alternate winner.

All winning entrants will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and a Waiver and Release form before the prize is officially awarded. Both documents will be provided to the winners in the form of an electronic PDF file that they must print out and complete fully. The Affidavit of Eligibility must be notarized for the winning entrant to be eligible. Failure to complete and return the Affidavit of Eligibility and Waiver and Release within seven (7) calendar days of notification of possible winning will result in forfeiture of the prize and an alternate winner will be selected.

A total of one (1) prize will be awarded. The prize will be awarded in the name of the winner only. An individual, regardless of the number of qualified entries made in this promotion, may win only one prize.

Additional Terms

Every entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. The Sponsor, Administrator, Judge, their affiliates, advertising, public relations and promotional agencies, general and limited partners, directors, officers, affiliates, representatives, agents and their employees assume no liability or responsibility for the prizes once they have been awarded to the winning entrants. Additionally, the winner shall hold harmless the Sponsor, Administrator, Judge, their affiliates, their advertising, public relations and promotional agencies, participating sponsors, promotional partners, general and limited partners, directors, officers, affiliates, representatives, agents and their employees against and waive any and all claims of liability arising directly or indirectly from the Promotion or any prizes awarded.

Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, or suspend this Promotion should one or more computer viruses, malicious computer code, non-authorized human intervention, or other causes beyond their control, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Promotion.

Sponsor reserves the right to make changes in the Official Rules of the contest, including substitution of a prize or a portion of the prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement, without the requirement to notify entrants or others. Such change may occur only on the Official Rules posted on the Promotion entry web site.

After the prize has been awarded, delivery of prize to winner may take six (6) weeks or longer depending on circumstances.

Copies of these rules will be available at http://ww.pawsafecleaners.com/promo or by mailing a self-addressed stamped #10 business envelope along with a request to "Maid Service Please Sweepstakes" Rules Request, P.O. Box 165428, Irving, TX 75016; and received no earlier than March 1, 2010 and no later than September 30, 2010. A listing of the winner may be obtained by mailing a self-addressed stamped #10 business envelope along with a request received after September 6, 2010 but before October 6, 2010, to "Maid Service Please Sweepstakes" Winners List Request, P.O. Box 165428, Irving, TX 75016. Only the winner’s name, city and state will be released.

Sponsor, Administrator, Judge, and retail and promotional Partners are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Promotion, or in the announcement of a prize.

By use of the http://www.pawsafecleaners.com or the Maid Service Please Sweepstakes promotion entry web sites, entrants agree to the use of their personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located by clicking on the "Privacy Policy" link on the main page of the http://www.pawsafecleaners.com web site.

Limitation of Liability

Sponsor shall not be liable for any damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential, relating to the participation or inability to participate in this Promotion.  Some states do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages; so the above may not apply to you. In no event shall Sponsor’s liability, either jointly or severally, exceed the amount of $1.
